I've had this happen. It was nuts. I didn't even realize that my eye was basically closed until I looked in the mirror. I was like why hasn't anyone told me I look like I'm having a stroke!? Lol

I didn't get any work done but one of my eyes look slightly smaller too. One of my eyes has a double eyelid and the other one has multiple. People don't really notice it until I point it out but it's one of my biggest insecurities. It's also the reason why I look so weird in photos😭

My elderly mother had a droopy (then fully closed) eyelid one day (proceeded by a really shocking headache). Turned out she had a brain aneurysm in the main artery to her eye. The droopy eye saved her life, showing the hospital what to look for... but the treatment to save her fro. the aneurysm (& subsequent heart attatck a year later) - both using contrast dyes during agiogram surgery to save her life - prematurity killed her, by quickly speeding up the damage from her Kidney Disease. You can't win, but I had a few extra years, and enough warning to say goodbye. And what worked to treat Kidney Disease didn't help her Heart Disease, and vice versa. But her 'speedy' end (over a few short years) all started with a droopy eyelied.

I get Botox for migraines. Its about 10% strength compared to Botox used for cosmetic reasons. I had a less pronounced eyelid droop for 1 month; then the eyelid was fine. It was not a fun experience. The Botox really helps reduce the number of migraines and makes them shorter.
