I really love lots of bands and artists but there are only couple which have 10+ albums and all of them are really excellent in their own way. It's insane but everything that they did in the 80s, 90s and have been doing since 2010's are so different and yet so alike and all of them so beautiful and special

To me this has got to be the most enrapturing intro to any Swans song. I think the guitar is playing a G minor while the bells/chimes(?) are in G major.

Everybody thinks of Swans as a very simple band. And yes, they use repetitiveness a lot in their newer music. But this whole album is so complex in its composition, better than many prog rock bands' best albums. They have very versatile instrumentations going on here, and change from dark to uplifting themes within seconds. I mean, all the little different parts and the great chorus off of "Love Will Save You" just is one of many examples for that.
