Really nice when something is explained rather than steps skipped, as in your Cal 'professor'. I was a music theory professor for 26 years, and it was common for most theory professors to say "Obey the rules, and no justification was given." Because of really BAD teachers I had in high school, I was determined not to be such a professor in college. This, by the way, was just what I was looking for.

you really need to focus on the problem when explain a problem with out distraction. you throw one word on the problem and 10 words on different subject makes extremely hard to follow
