5. I want to address the fact that I wouldn’t make the Part I Kool-Aid reference/joke today. At the time, I had been thinking of the general “drinking the Kool-Aid” phrase that people have used to describe cultish behavior, and not of the actual events that lead to the popularization of that phrase. I’ve grown to be more thoughtful about my humor over the years, and I hope to continue that throughout my life. I thought it was funny then, I don’t think it’s funny now, and I wanted to acknowledge that, especially for any of you who might be bothered by it. (This is not related to the completely different Kool-Aid reference in Part III, which I still stand behind.)

These have always been some of my favorite's of your JB. My current headcannon is that the found footage video is how the listener finds out about the commune, and the one you did in the car/garage is a runner helping the listener reach the commune, like there's multiple esoteric groups trying to get their hands on special people, and the commune is a safe haven that teaches them how to use their gifts.

This was the first series that popped up for me for your channel way back when and I’ve always gone back to it and your channel ever since.
Although I know/respect that you’re not comfortable/some viewers aren’t comfortable with the Kool Aid joke, honestly I really do think it’s funny and I know it’s meant to be subversive. It’s only a character you’re playing; I think context is important for these kinds of jokes. I’ve always really loved this series and have found it comforting, relaxing, and entertaining! Much love.
