'California's Largest Wildfire DESTROYS Homes and Forces More Evacuations'

Flames racing through rugged terrain in California destroyed multiple homes on Saturday.

The fast-moving Dixie Fire, the largest of seven wildfires blazing in the state, prompted more evacuations amid hot, breezy conditions and low humidity, according to authorities.

Mandatory evacuation orders were issued in Butte County as the fire continued to grow explosively eastward becoming the state’s largest wildfire so far this year.

I learned this in school, but it probably isn't taught anymore. The western forest requires fire to propagate and to keep from getting too thick. Some trees need fire to open their seed pods. And fire burn areas always has the most wildlife afterwards compared to a mature dark forest because grass and berries can grow. Its only with humans with their stick built houses that it becomes a problem. The forest service has videos about this process. If they haven't been taken down yet.
