What a misleading headline. There are no where near 8, 000 homes destroyed. So far there have been 700 homes destroyed in ALL of California. This headline implies over 8, 000 destroyed in just the Bay Area. More bs entertainment news meant to scare people even more. NBC, try being truthful for once.

I live in Indiana. This all makes me sick. Year after year this happens. Humans & Animals DEAD. They Could Stop ALL the Fires NOW. They Could Have stopped them before letting them get out of control. OPEN YOUR EYES. WE GO ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH OUR MILITARY TO FIGHT IN WARS. TAKE PLANES TANKS BOMBS ETC. We go to the Moon and Live in Space, Splash down in the Ocean's/Gulf this time. GET THE WATER TANKER PLANES FROM ALL Branches OF THE MILITARY. GET 5 OR 6 OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME TO FLY NEXT TO EACH OTHER, (like the Blue Angels & Thunderbirds do) AND DO A CONSTANT DROP OF WATER. I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH MONEY IT WOULD COST, IT WOULD BE LESS TO DO THIS AT THE START OF EACH FIRE, (OR EVEN NOW AFTER WEEKS) THAN IT WILL IN ANOTHER MONTH OR TWO !!!! THE LOSS OF LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY !!! WAKE UP PEOPLE
