Americans who think that’s not a pen are either blind or clowns. Football is a physical game and Zimmerman was grappling with Laryea, there was no shove because they were pulling the other way.

Zimmerman lost his footing and made a last ditch tackle towards the ball which he messed up and took out the man in a rugby style tackle. Clear penalty and yellow card, Zimmerman lost his footing which made him fall not the grappling with Laryea.

Where was the VAR in this game? On another note Canada played great soccer, every game they continue to get better we will go far with this team!

Referee was absolutely atrocious and I said this before and I will say it again, Concacaf refs are garbage and incompetent. Canada by far was the better team, but if they want to do better instead of passing the ball take the chance and shoot, you guys need to shoot more and apply pressure to the opponent. You guys need to work finishing and keeping the ball, but other than that you guys played fairly ok

I watched Fox Sports and their commentary team admitted that outside of first few minutes Canada was the better team. I was surprised; their commentary was quite even handed. Lots of good Canadian chances. That one tackle by Miller was top class. We have lots to look forward to with this Canadian team.

If the first one was not a penalty in the eyes of the referee, the second one was a penalty for the blind person. Canada were robbed by the referee, and USA should really be worried from this low quality for of soccer for next rounds.
I think Canada will be in the final.
