I was given one today, and I need to find a base plate for it, but it is amazing! These old tools tell a story!

I have found a post drill just today. I tried not to act very exited, but I couldn't hold back. I'm gonna try to do some trading for it. Good luck finding one for your shop.

Hay there one thing people always seem to do is mount the drill to high when the crank is at the top of its swing that should be about even with your shoulder . try it when you get one its a lot easer on the muscles in your shoulders . i think people are just used to seeing a modern drill press and think that where they should be at iv got one i am restoring on my channel should have another video up in a few days.

Thanks for sharing! Can you please tell me about how long it would take to hand crank a 1/4" drill bit through a 1/4"-thick steel plate? Is it comparable to a low-power drill press, or is it not even in the same ballpark?

Looks Like A Champion blower and Forge company post drill. Is it a number 101?

I have had one for about 15 years now, but the advance cam is worn. I can't find anyone to restore the cast iron piece, and bring it into service. Maybe someday

I just bought one of these and oiled it up and it began to turn then snapped the auto feed lever like a twig. Where can I get another lever ?

Hi everyone. My dad recently passed away and had one of these in his shop. Anybody have any clue as to what something like this would be worth? His is fully operational. Believe it has a handle on the flywheel as well though.
