Why share this tiny clip? Because I think this is one of the most important points Dr. Peterson is making.
Try to keep this in the back of your mind every time you encounter ideologies. It doesn't even have to be
necessarily political, it could be extreme environmentalism, fad diets or crazy conspiracy theories which
tend to oversimplify into good vs bad while hijacking mythological substructures.

I'm sure Jordan Peterson is well aware of Clare Graves' (and later Ken Wilber's) interpretations of SPIRAL DYNAMICS. For me, this was a starting point for me to begin to appreciate, and try to resolve and integrate ideologies/memes which were not necessarily close to my own 'home turf.' I recommend this model to everybody. Just a suggestion folks.

So theoretically it would be possible to create an ideology that told "the whole story", by combining half-true thesis and antithesis to create a fully true synthesis. That is precisely what Fascism and other Alt-right movements aim to do (albeit imperfectly) by incorporating elements from both the Right and the Left.

The rejection of ideology is by its nature ideology. This isn't "muh postmodernism". Peterson feigning objectivity despite his word salads being just as subjective as my pedantry just sits weird with me.
