Discord is not that much of an unusual place for this to occur. If you could see the lengths that some of us gaming nerds go to in order to 'own' in an an interment argument it's quite shocking, and amusing until the illegality sets in - just look at the leaking over a game's tank specifications last summer. Not surprised one bit. Good interview though, digging this channel as it cuts straight to the chase.

I love that serious news-agencies all over the place are claiming anything from Discord being a gaming-website, to gaming-forums while the reality is that Discord is a communications-platform originally made for gamers to use while playing games…but it is in truth a social networking service where you can search up and join any community dedicated to any topic you could possibly think of.

Think Skype but much larger in scope with servers having tens of thousands of members able to talk in multiple text-channels and voice-channels.

Another game they play is when a document shows up that real and has been stolen (leak is actually not how the military see this) they then release "other documents" in similar format that are not real to create a cloud of confusion to keep the enemy and everyone else guessing....

4-Chan and Discord. Perfect. These documents could easily have been produced by ChatGPT and dressed-up a little to look like photographed briefing docs. Get used to the idea that nothing is true, and nothing is exclusively real anymore. If it ever was. (We just remember it that way.) Everything is connected to everything else and exists to serve an exterior purpose.
