Dozens of classified US documents have been leaked and are now circulating on the internet.

Images of the classified files have appeared on messaging app Discord since early March.

Complete with timelines and dozens of military acronyms, the documents, some marked "top secret", offer information on the war in Ukraine and other topics.

Pentagon officials have been quoted as saying the documents are real.

Interesting that the focus is on "who leaked what?" rather than "who spied what?" Wonder, if this would have been okay had the roles been reversed.

I would say Phishing is a problem. Scanned in documents are digital and the physicals archived. Makes sense that the digital copies were copied from digital systems to that discord server.
Perhaps it is time to listen to orgs like CISA and NCSC. Batten down the digital hatches.
