I actually like the colors of the other edition and I'm not a huge fan of that purple solid sprayed edge but the cranes, the art, and the design of the hardback are just gorgeous!

When I went to the Redwoods I absolutely loved Fern Canyon. It's so gorgeous, I would highly recommend. The hike coming at it from the back way is beautiful, too.

That Fairyloot edition of Six Crimson Cranes is gorgeous but I do prefer the color scheme of the original UK edition.

I bought that national parks book just now! I love traveling and hiking too. We've been to 11 national parks so far and I hope to go to all of them. You'll love the redwood national park. It was amazing.

My husband follows the author of Iron Widow on YouTube and said he's going to order it for me. I really want to read The Keeper of Night as well. I luckily got an arc of Little Thieves and I'm planning on reading it this month. I really love the UK cover of Six Crimson Cranes but that fairy loot one is stunning. I haven't really bought a lot of books lately but I have about 30 books to take to bookman's so I'll hopefully buy some books soon.

Just got back from a trip to Yosemite and Death Valley. Highly recommend if you haven't been. They both are stunning, but Death Valley in particular blew me away

I'm sending positive wishes and prayers for your mum Elliot. It is extremely heartbreaking when a parent has cancer- I lost my dad on the 18th to what started as Stage 4 Prostate cancer and became brain cancer and it was such a terrible loss so I know exactly the pain of an ill parent. He was on chemotherapy this year and it just accelerated it. :(
On a book note, I much prefer the pink and purple cover of Six Crimson Cranes.
