Haha, no-one going to mention that poor bugger at 11:36 whose boarding pass flew off in the wind! 😂

I actually lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in the early 1980's- literally across from the airport, in a little German compound. My father worked in the computer department of a US construction company. It was really an awesome experience, and of course we flew in to and out of King Abdulaziz International all the time. Every time I watch a YouTuber fly in and out of Jeddah, I get a little touch of nostalgia and deja vu.

Saudia definitely has improved alot in the past 2 years. Started flying with them 4 years ago usually on Singapore to Jeddah to Riyadh / Dubai Riyadh legs.
The Saudi Kabsa they serve is something I always look forward to when flying with them.

Great video mate !

Wow at 17:42 you can see Nuweiba beach at the top of the screen - the biblical crossing of the Red Sea. They’ve found human bones, horse bones and even chariot wheels (the captain ones were gold so they didn’t rot away and coral doesn’t grow on them)
Love your videos Noel - keep up the great work 👊🏼

Hi Mr.Noel,
I am from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and I’m really happy that you came to Jeddah!!!
I wanted to tell you that the new terminal in Jeddah airport has opened and it’s amazing according to the rubbish old one, you really have to come and see it! It’s super cool and has a aquarium inside
Sam Chui actually filmed it, you can see the video
I went to it about 3 months ago when I was flying a domestic flight from Jeddah to Abha and back
It was an amazing experience
And the new Saudi Airlines Al Fursan lounge is really better than the old one that you visited
I wish you had fun in your visit here in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
And I have a (FACT) that it’s Arabic coffee not Arabic tea 🤗❤️ just corrected
I Undoubtedly gave it a huge like 👍❤️
Thanks for filming this iconic review and bye bye 👋
Stay safe
Greetings from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦☺️😊🤗❤️👍😂

Love to see this; Saudia is my childhood airline. The two swords and a palm tree is one of my favourite airline logos ever.

Really impressed by Saudia! I also thought that gesture with the window was excellent service and someone who genuinely appreciates their passengers. Perhaps they too have a keen interest in travel.

I used to fly Saudia 4 times a year back in the 90s and early 2000s. I always preferred to fly Saudia rather than British Airways. I lived in Saudi Arabia for 15ish years and I highly recommend a visit if you get the chance.

The first thing I noticed was the crew. Such a lovely gesture. Very well done Saudia. Hellos from Australia.

** NOEL ** - Top Camera tip (from a pro) - when you encounter indoor LED lighting that rolls and flickers, switch the camera from PAL (UK electric frequency 50Hz) to NTSC (USA 60Hz Mains Electric) and alter the frame rate to UK 50 frames per second and shutter of 1/100th second, and USA 60 frames per second and 1/120th second shutter. This matches up the camera sensor refresh rate to that of the local electric frequency and stops the flickers. ;)

Wow, those views of the Saudi coast and the Sinai Peninsula just blew me away. If I’d been on that flight you’d have had to unglue my eyeballs from the window.

I was a gold member and really enjoyed SV business class. By the way I was the Programme Manager for implementing their new Amadeus departure control system!

I have been using Saudia the past two years the get to Skyteam gold with their amazing fares. I flew several of their aircraft in their fleet (A320 A330 B777-300 B777-300ER and 787) their service is developing so well (unlike my grammar in this comment) and I have started to look for a good Saudia fare whenever I want to go Asia. I really hope the new Jeddah terminal will open soon because I have had 5 layovers there in that awfull lounge especially compared to the one in Riyadh. Btw I love your videos Noel because of you approach to reviewing products and mixing business and economy. It makes your channel a go to place to look up what you actually can expect on certain airlines keep it up!

Saudia is one of my favourite airlines in the world. The crew is nearly always patient, all smiles, helpfull and friemdly. The planes are always clean and their planes are always new. Plus all planes are equiped with plenty entertainment system. Finally the food is in great proprortion but most importantly always delicious. Used to travel on it two times yealry out od Riyadh. But pre corona even treid them out of jeddah on a long haul to malaysia and it was just as good as it was before.
I cannot wait when travel resumes again and international travel and borders open. Cannot wait and get back to travelling long haul.

Saudia seems to be a great airline...those shaded windows on the 787 come across as a great idea, but in reality, many airlines take to choice out of your hands by over-riding the control, really nice the FA gave you the option.

Food looked beautiful on those flights. Star of the flight was the scenery though, what incredible landscapes. Looked a really enjoyable flight
