Food Review SAUDIA AIRLINES! Business Class from Bangkok to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia!

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA - Tonight we’re taking a flight from Bangkok to Jeddah (via Riyadh) in Saudi Arabia. I’m going to show you all the food in Business Class!

Saudia Airlines was formerly known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, and it’s the flagship airlines of Saudi Arabia. From Bangkok there was a flight directly to Jeddah, but via Riyadh just for a quick one hour stop.

Since we flew on the late night flight, it was breakfast that was served - which is typically not my favorite meal on an airplane. However, when it’s ful medames for breakfast, that’s something I love. We actually had two ful meals on the airlines because we took off at night and the second leg of the flight from Riyadh to Jeddah was also breakfast time.

I loved the Saudi coffee and especially the ful!

While ago, I traveled between Riyadh and Bahrain a few times on Saudia. They served great dinner and lunch during short 1.5 hours flight in economy class. Saudi Hospitality is great unlike most Western Airlines

My Dad worked for Saudi Arabian Airlines for 10 years and we lived in Jeddah, SA. Saudi Arabian Airlines had the BEST food. We would fly from London or Bangkok to SA and I remember eating flavorful rice pilaf with tender lamb and veggies or other delicious meals, not even first class at times. I can’t wait to go back to visit!! 🇸🇦

I really appreciate how you connect with people, Mark. I wonder how many flights Chef Zuhail (sp?) has served his meals on, where he wouldn't have had the conversations about the coffee and meals that he's prepared as he has had with you. Your ability to connect with others is very special.

The first time I flown with SAUDIA was to Zurich and it is indeed "love at first flight". I travelled economy and the economy seats are comfortable and spacious. The food is delicious. The travel kit is awesome (even for economy and quite rare to receive it in economy), the pillow and blanket is awesome and free flow of drinks all the time and of course the welcome hot towel.
