Your Tears starts the focusing of your eyes. If you have poor or a thin tear film, this can cause blurry vision right from the start. If you tears evaporate too fast, and you have a low TBUT, this can cause a foggy cornea, which can cause hazy and foggy/blury vision. If your dry eyes get bad enough, it can cause dry patches on your cornea called keratitis. Superficial punctate keratitis, punctate erosions, and even corneal erosion can form on the cornea, making it tricky to see though those dry patches.
The main dry eye treatments you can do at home include: preservative free artificial tears, omega 3 supplements, and good lid hygiene.

I've had dry eyes for the last 6/7 years...The best remedy I've used it Organic Castor oil...Just using a tiny drop on the fingertip and swiping it across your eyeline like a eye pencil every night for two weeks in the beginning...Your eyes will become alittle blurry, red n gritty for the first two weeks...In the morning you may wake up with crusty eyes, this is all very normal as the Castor oil cleanses your eyes...After two weeks you use it once a week, over time maybe once a month...Your eyes will be clear n sharp, no more weeping eyes or feeling of grit...Castor oil will also safeguard your eyes against Cataracts and Glaucoma...I carry onto to use it every couple of months to maintain the moisture and clear vision...

I can't believe that not ONE of my eye docs over the years have explained any of this. Not even the test you mentioned or that you can go blind if you don't take this issue seriously. Very upsetting! Thank you for sharing this info.

I usualy had very dry and painful eyes in the mornings with blurry vision, and finally found out that my eyes don't shut completely while sleeping. Not wide open, but a bit. Now I wear a nightmask, and that really works! :)

My dry eye problems are caused by a stroke I had two years ago. It has only grown worse over the past two years. Eye drops and eye massages tie in well with what my ophthalmologist recommended. Thanks for the free consultation!

Since I was a child I had a 1/4” grey spot on the white of my left eye which my eye doctor told me was a birth mark. When I was 60 I started to close my eyes in the shower and let the water spray on my eyelids, (eyes closed), turning my head side to side, 20x to improve eye circulation. Within two weeks the mark was completely gone. When I told my present doctor what I did he said it was impossible.
I also asked him what the effects were of preservatives on living cells, or if cataracts were a kind of callus the eye makes from dry eyelids rubbing on the surface membrane of the eye and he didn’t know.
I have always had dry eyes and could never wear contacts. Now I think it’s from clogging my tear ducts with the black eye pencil we used to line our inner eyelids with.

I also have lupus SLE and sjogrens which causes dry eyes. My eyesight is fine except for the dry eyes. My optometrist used a steamer on my eyes followed by squeezing to clear the lower lid oil glands which were blocked. Once this was done, my eyes went from very blurry to clear vision. Very informative video. Thank you.

For the last few years(especially around 2020) my eyes have been getting dry and irritated. my eyes were never perfect I never had trouble seeing at night or the double vision you talked about. But I can even feel the dryness and irritation but when my eyes are properly lubricated I have vision like an eagle with amazing detail. I would myself contribute most of my dry eyes issue from lack of exercise/activity, my diet not being the best the last few years, and the irritants of my current home, aka environment. Even when I went to an eye doctor the head lady there couldn't have cared less about what I was saying to her about my dry and irritated eyes that this is a new problem. All she cared about was getting me a pair of new glasses $$$ for which I only ever needed them for the classroom sometimes. She was even nasty to say she would tell authorities or so that I needed glasses while driving, basically threatening me which after I got done with what I needed there I will never return. But from this video I feel this is exactly what I have, true dry eyes because of diet, lack of exercise, and environment and these solutions and reasons make perfect sense.

Drink water! I had Lasik surgery on my right eye, I can tell when I’m dehydrated by that eye. I then drink water and then shortly after feel my eye hydrate. It is worth a try!

Green tea with honey does an amazing job. I make myself a cup of tea and fill my dropper bottle. Be sure to use fresh organic tea and raw honey. I use it on my dogs too.

I found this video very helpful. I had 6 eye surgeries and ended up with a cornea transplant. This guy is right. Drink water and keep those corneas moist! Especially if you have had LASIK or smoke or use antidepressants or marijuana. All of these things dry out your eyes.

I have suffered with extreme dry eyes for almost my entire life. As a teen, I would poke them or blow on them to make them tear up but with little relief. Then one day I realised that if I yawn, my eyes produced tears. These days I yawn like every few minutes through out the entire day, everyday for the tears. I never use eye drops because the relief is short lived. I have also experienced extremely blurred vision for months and became scared that I was going blind but didn't know why. Now I understand that it's down to the same dry eyes that have plagued me for my entire life :(

This is best video on dryness. You literally solved my concern and doubts on my doctor.
I have get checked up by 5 doctor each and everyone gave a different prescription and number for my lens and last the conclusion was my original number was correct and I have dryness which can only be corrected by artificial tears.

I had all these problems listed below
1. Pain in my right eye only when I wear specs. Without specs its fine
2. Right eye feels like a stone in my eyesocket
3. Pain in eyebrows, below eye, nerve and forehead at right side, when I have the specs.
4. Vision gets blurred after continuous working on the laptop. That's why I follow 202020.
5. Little overlapping characters not much but worsen with continuous work.
6. For dryness I have eyedrops 4 times a day which only delays the pain for a while.
7. I feel sleepy and heavy eyes on my mac all the time and I have to sleep to recover, which I cannot afford
8. Sometimes I cannot see the fonts clearly the same font and sometimes I can. ( Dont remember when) I think after continuously working and not having eyedrops in the last 2 hours

What can be the reason and solution for this.

Thank you for your post! Helpful! My favorite eye drops are, "Simalisan, " it is thick, doesn't sting, lasts & there's 4 or 5 different types for different problems. 💦

In addition to what you are saying, what helps me a great deal dealing with dry eyes, is to wash my eyes with lots of VERY WARM water and mild soap (eye lids closed of course), water as WARM, hot as I can tolerate, it makes a BIG difference! 😄. I was told to do this by my eye doctor.
