That is cool. I have been doing this but when I import it back in I vectorize it in 2 colors and make the letter color transparent or hide it. That way you don't have to worry about pixels. I love how there so many ways to do things.

Great tip. Isn’t it better to select a color of the text that is being knocked out a color closer to the underlying image? That way you don’t have the issues with the color?

Works great but now I want to remove the mast background so that I just have the relief lettering that can be printed on a t-shirt. I tried using background removers but they either degraded the quality or had mistakes. Hoping there is easy solution as I have plans to use this style on multiple t-shirt designs.

I couldnt Find a gold foil print text on the notebooks. I saw so many samples at Etsy. How can you do that ?

Text on a high contrast background like that should be pretty easy for the vectorizer tool to convert to vector and then do a cleaner job at removing the text by color 🤔.

Even better would be a feature allowing us to use any vector or text box as an image mask 😃

Million Dollar Question for Graham!! When we scale up a photo from the Kittl library as you did at 1:35, does it downgrade it? (Coming from Photoshop, this is what I would expect unless it is a smart object). I find in most, if not all cases, they are smaller than my artboard dimensions and not sure why that is. Are they all sourced at 1080p max?
