I love how mine tastes 2 AA batteries, which of course could be chargeable ones but I just changes them twice a year from an old package that has best before date from 5 years ago 😅

it's looped under to prevent you from ripping it off the battery when trying to remove the back since it will now be glued to the back instead of passing under the black frame.

It goes under so that it doesn’t get worn out when pressure is applied on the back. Same reason the 2012 MBP hard drive cable fails.

The reason why they glue it so much is because they don’t expect you to fix it when the battery is no longer working. They just want you to buy a new keyboard so they can get more money because Apple prefers taking your money and then you fix the products you already own
