I once drove 18 hrs straight after working a 12 hr shift just to go see my ex in Denver. As tired as I was and how she wanted me to sleep and rest, I told her I wanted to spend every waking moment with her. I eventually fell asleep at her feet while I was massaging them later on that night after spending the entire morning/day with her. I played this for her on my way home and I couldn’t stress enough that is what I was feeling when I was with her and when he says “I don’t wanna sleep, I just wanna keep on loving you” that always puts tears in my eyes and still does. I am in a long distance relationship which is sweet and difficult at times. This song reminds me of the person and all the nights we stay up talking on a video call where both of us know we need to sleep but we do not. And the lines "I don't want to sleep, I just want to keep on loving you" synchs so beautifully with everything that's going on.
