This song is beyond special. If you are my age, you grew up living in a subdivision in the late 70's and into the 80's. On a warm summer night, you could often go outside and hear that guitar solo echoing off in the distance.

This song always takes me back to high school in West Texas. Great times in 1980. Fantastic job guys!
JFYI, they named the band REO Speedwagon, from the REO Speed Wagon, a flatbed truck that keyboardist Neal Doughty had studied in a transportation history class, and the initials are those of its founder Ransom Eli Olds (Oldsmobile). The REO Speed Wagon, introduced in 1915, was an early precursor to the modern pickup truck, and was produced by the REO Motor Car Company of Lansing Michigan.
