When I was in college, a bunch of us came home to my parent's house, camped out miles away on horseback, then rode our horses (totally inebriated) for over an hour in pitch black darkness back to the farm (long story!). The horses 100% knew how to get back home! 😂

For the horse one, I've actually always imagined back in the day cowboys probably used to get shitfaced drunk at saloons, get on their horse, and let it ride them home while they just chilled looking at the stars or drunkingly shooting at random things for fun.
