I've started with the donut tutorial, working on it 1-2 hours after job. I did the first 10-11 parts, until the animation came in, because I have a small laptop and it was frustrating to see my donut moving every other second. It took me around two weeks, maybe more. Now I'm doing a magical mushroom tutorial and the first part it took me also more than a week, because I messed up the mushroom cap and I had to redo it. While some stuff it was easier to learn, the nodes are still a foggy area for me. I don't want to do only tutorial stuff, I just want to learn what I can do with this animation program. I also want to learn the 2D part. I try to write down the steps to follow and hot keys, and this also takes some time, I can't move that fast to the next action. Also, when a problem appears I google it and look for answers (which many times are for older versions) - so I spend a few good minutes on that.

If you are someone who wants to learn 3d believe me its not that easy this completely wrong. Your first month is going to be frustrating being patient is the key. I have been doing 3d for a year now and all my 3d artist friends have gone under the same process so yeah it's not that easy but it becomes with time and dedication

It's rough trying to learn lol, I tried to learn as much as possible, after a week and a half of nothing but blender on my free time I can say that... I've learned very little I feel lol

I think a lot of people aren't reading the titles you give to each project. Quite a few of these were done with the help of a tutorial. So if you actually have the time to sit there and follow along for the day, it's not hard to finish. The most recent donut tutorial is around 7 hours total to watch. And the original, before 2.8m doesn't seem to be up anymore. Which was the shortest of the 3 versions I think.

Congrats op, you tried to apply what you learned into your own projects. So I think you'll do fine if you keep it up.
