I love Chas and I get he's trying to be balanced - but that's for normal circumstances. This is not a normal election race, Trump is not a normal candidate. It's not unbalanced to call out this highly bizarre unhinged behaviour from a convicted felon with declining cognitive function. Chas called Biden out on the same behaviour. US here. Just remember. When Trump and MAGA say "Radical Left", they mean *anyone* to the left of Pauline Hanson (the only radical Right Australian I know of).
For Americans, you can say "to the left of the John Birch Society" (tried to link MLK to Communists, said sexual liberation of the 60s was a KGB plot to destroy America's values, etc).

Chas isn’t saying Trump isn’t a bloody lunatic, he’s saying that such things as being awkward and odd at a rally aren’t the strongest grounds to base the assessment off of.

If you blow everything out of proportion then you end up with The Boy who Cried wolf. When real scandals happens why should it be taken seriously by people who support him when the opposition treats everything like a bombshell?

Because there’s real harm that trump has done, and real harm he plans to do. But you’re mad that people aren’t critical enough of him doing a stupid dance? It’s like He’s been found with blood on his hands and you’re angry he left his tie undone and other people aren’t paying attention to the tie.
