Fun throwback!

Let me get this straight. We're making $650k/yr, about to pay off our $900k house, and we're freaked out about $20k/yr in property tax. So many just crave them invent our own problems that don't exist. Good grief.

Kelly, I'm praying for healing for your husband. Maybe you can seek out another car dealership owner and see if they can give you direction in running the business. They may be sympathetic to your situation and willing to advise you. Maybe insurance can send someone in to care for your husband while you're running the business. It's also time to utilize your older children. They can help with the younger children or assist with the business. I was a stay at home mother and substitute teacher, too. You are capable of accomplishing more than you know. Lean on God and hang in there. I'm praying that God gives you the direction that you need to pull through this. I'm praying for your family. God bless.

The lady from Texas making over half a mil a year and worried about 20k property taxes is ridiculous. She will absolutely NOT tip anyone 100 bucks. She will think she's going to go broke. The waitress will be lucky if she gets 10% 😒

Well, saving the best for last, there’s always young Joshua from San Antonio! Thanks to folks like him, this show will be around forever. Delightful call. You can turn this around, Joshua! 😊

Nathan, it’s okay to support your wife’s dreams my friend, but y’all have to set shared goals and execute on them together. It shouldn’t be all on you and I fear that’s the burden you are carrying and why you’re beating yourself up. I promise you, y’all will accomplish more as a team and there’s room in that for her equestrian ambitions. Wishing you well young man.

Always good advice to recommend renting for a year to check out the area and schools before buying.

To Alexis, who wants to move to Boise: I am 25M living in Downtown Boise in a co-living apartment (4b/4b leased per room) with $960/mo base rent. So even if you want your own place you can get a studio, it would not cost more than $1200/mo depending on the area.

If anyone knows how to get a hold of Kelly, I’d love to help her with her Aflac claims to ensure she gets all the benefits she’s entitled too. (I work for Aflac Headquarters)

Savannah, I decided to go back to work after having my second baby and it was great for my mental health. I don’t know how much daycare is in your area but we pay 3, 150 a month for our two girls in daycare. This was actually the most affordable option we found. That has been very hard. I wanted to put that out there because George said you should be looking at it being 1500, it’s going to be more than that for two.

Nathan @ VA.🤣🤣🤣 Why did you even call?

I have horses. I work my back side off for them and they are a hobby. I have friends that compete to a high level and I have a friend who is an Olympic trainer. Being an equestrian competitor is not a job UNLESS you are at the level where investors and high net worth clients own the horses you ride and pay all the costs and you generate an income by being at that level and winning. Sadly most horse people (I can say this as I am within it!) are spoilt entitled brats. She may be talented and obsessed with what she does and she may ride to a really high level but if it’s not being funded externally then it’s just a hobby. Most professional riders never actually make an income from what they do because the costs outweigh winnings. Sadly Nathan is blinded by his adoration of her and meanwhile she gets to continue living a very expensive hobby and call it a job. Sadly I would say it’s a lack of respect on her part for him.

I dont think I've ever been more aggravated at rhe RS hosts as much as Kelly in Little Rock, whos husband literally just had a car wreck, sustained a traumatic brain injury, and now Kelly has found out that theres debt husband has been hiding from her in his car hosts spent more time on the
Olympic level athlete story than this story. This story had a financial, emotional and betrayal emergency....and they literally told her not to make any big decisions in the next 6 weeks...and a free coaching session. What the hell? Guys, she has lost her income, lost her husband mentally and his physicality....shes discovered a level of betrayal that is going to bankrupt her in was the bread winner....and now he needs 24/7 care....and all you guys came up with was a free coaching session? Shes facing a death of epic still alive and she now has to clean all of it up, not starve and take care of 5 kids. Kelly, contact another car lot and get those cars sold ASAP. You're either gonna have to take up the reins of the car lot, sell it, or close it down. One of my family members had the same thing happen to her when her husband died suddenly and she discovered hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt he hid from her. She worked in real estate, so she sold the hell out of some property and got that debt gone in a year....but they didnt have little kids. Their kids were grown. Kelly, have the hospital caseworker help you find a program that can help provide in home care for your husband, before he's discharged....is he a veteran whos connected to the VA? If he is, they may be able to help remodel thr house to make it accessible to wheelchair, hospital bed, etc, for a cheap or free amount. If hes not a vet, check with a high school shop class to see if they could assist with a remodel for the house or for some community service credit. Whatever you decide, youre gonna have to be stronger than you ever thought you could gonna scream alot, cry alot, hate what has happened, beg to be released from this situation that youve been shackled your meltdown....let it last 10 mins, 30 mins, or an hour. Then clean up your face, and make a plan....start working the plan. Maybe some of the older kids need to start mowing and helping the household, or start babysitting the younger kids so you can start driving for Uber or Lyft. There wont seem like theres a way thru this....but you wont see a light ahead, until you start stepping with in home care places, to see how theyre paid for their programs there could be available for him. Id consider either selling that car lot, or becoming THE car sales woman of the year....because you have no other choice. You've gotta be a different version of yourself than you've ever been....

Can you survive with beans and rice?
Yes you can if you know how to use your stock of beans and rice to their full potential. Beans and rice are packed full of energy, nutrition, vitamins and minerals. And they can be used in multiple ways beyond just plain “beans and rice.”

Savannah - you're going to find out that two kids are going to be quite different than one when considering becoming employed again or not. It's not just the child care. There are a lot of other costs with two young children. If you feel you can do it, then perhaps working in the evenings or on the weekends might be a better choice.

Oh my gosh, i feel so bad for the ladies husband who is crying about a 20k property tax bill. Talk about ungreatful and likely ridiculously difficult to live with. You literally make as much in a month as 40% of the population make a year, 55k a month. Its 2 weeks of pay for you to pay your property taxes, which literally pays for your cops, firefighters, roads and infrastructure for your mcmansion. Try be grateful, and content with life, you can pay off a million dollar house in 3 years.

Caleb from Orlando, I did not listen to the rest of the call yet and I haven't read the comments but if you have a loan for the land, you should be able to use the same bank for a construction loan. I might be missing something here. Good luck to you.
