I am passionate about both by starting a tech business later while acquiring skills by a job and understanding how everything works

Lifestyle change, and I also suspect that I would love coding. Lifestyle change in the sense that I want to pick up new and more technical skills and change how I spend my free time to be more productive.

keep up the grrat work man! i program with game engine and make native android and ios apps. it's also always best to start simple and build up from there.

Definitely the second. I'm a biologist and it's quite hard to live wherever you want being a biologist, you constantly need to get to the lab, or go to the field, some jobs are more office based and some companies, thankfully, are moving away from the obligatory "in person" aproach, but they still require you to go to the office once a week or something like that. Also you MUST live on a big city, or really close to it. I live on Brasil, there's a few cities that are near my state capital that would be great to live to run away from the "big city" traffic and lifestyle, but since they are so near to the capital they are quite expensive, and the only other cities that are good near the capital are historical cities, so they're also just as expensive or more compared to living in the capital due to them being touristic cities.

With programming i could choose to live anywhere, like near the border between and enjoy a MUCH LOWER living cost, because i could just cross the frontier and buy my whole month groceries in either of those countries. Or i could live on a city that's near lots of forests, so i could more easily go hiking, camping and enjoy lots of waterfalls.

I'm actually hopeful that I'll be able to work on IT WITH biology, that way I'll be able to combine the useful with the pleasant and be a happy biologist heheh

I was passionate but I value working over passion. I’ve been a dev for insurance companies, trucking companies, hr companies. None of those are projects that make me feel passionate about the software. My code doesn’t help people and isn’t even touched by more than a couple hundred employees of those companies. If I were to work on something consumer facing hear real feedback from the people who use my product I think that would go a long way but I doubt that’ll come anything soon.

I have been a recruiter for 7+ years and I’ve worked with software developers for 90% of that time. Last year I made the choice to change my career and become a front end developer. I received a project for a job interview, it was to create a website from a pdf given to me, whilst making the project I just felt happy and engrossed. I’ve realised that creative design and interactive website is what I want to develop. So this video resonates with me 1million%. I don’t just love coding I love creating things ❤
