You also gotta be logged in about 30 min before any rush to get good pick up requests. The app is built to reward those who do the off peak BS small runs.

Electricians for the county here make $310 a day. All we have to do is pull the old fuse out of your home and put in a new one. I don’t deal with traffic or other peoples bs

It's not worth it after you pay for gas. I lost money and had delivery's in rich neighborhoods they left less than I would as a customer it's sad.

People forget that vehicle depreciation is about 1:1 to gas costs

I do the same in my area lol, I have an electric car as well so charging it at my home only cost me about 10 bucks for a full charge every 2-3 days. Each month I take home anywhere from 6-7k a month. Livings tight but I can support myself and my wife with it so props to you bro

I was a delivery driver for Pizza Hut and I had to put in like $30 in my tank at the beginning of every day and that was the bare minimum I tried to put in and my check just didn’t make up for all the money I was putting into gas

That’s really good, I work about 5 hours at a pizza/Italian restaurant, only delivery person. Usually bring in 180-250 on weekends. But that’s like 20 deliveries. I enjoy it though food industry is interesting never thought I would like it.

Bro love the corolla, I drove that exact car and paint when I was doing DoorDash. I stopped driving food delivery when the price of gas soared but since it’s now recovering I can see going back to it.

gas + wear-and-tear including maintanance (oil, brake coolant change) on the car must be subtracted and set aside for the future. get full coverage insurance because the more time on the road rushing orders, the higher the risk of an accident no matter how safe you drive

I was able to make close to 400 bucks but that was an all day thing and a whole gas thank. Plus meals and beverages. So it went down. And yes that's its not an every day thing. Here in LA some stu... apartments are so big that you loose a lot of time looking for them.

I do this in a big city, do well. Drive a 2016 Prius new, paid it off in less than 5 years with high rent living. Prius has close to 170k, still has the stock front brake pads on it. Only maintenance is: oil, tranny fluid changes, tires, back brake pads, air filters replacement and spark plugs. Lowest cost of maintenance car for delivery work. 50 + miles/gallon.
Get a Prius. * also dude doesn’t use an insulated delivery bag to carry customers food in video. Get a couple insulated bags to keep hot/cold food preserved. How would you want your food delivered?

And gas was $4, 500. Used to do Door Dash. Can't make it little town, cheap tips and orders are $10-$20. I tried Walmart curbside but don't get those very often. And that was before the pandemic.
