How to Check if Google Account has been Hacked - 2022

How to check if your Google Account was hacked? In this tutorial, I show you how to check to see if your Google account has been hacked. This can be useful if you stop getting emails in Gmail, notice your Google language changed, notice changes to your Google account, or get a login notification from Google. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions while checking if your Google Account has been hacked.

Follow the steps below to change the Google language back to English:
2. Select the circular avatar in the top right of the Google page.
3. In the pop up select Manage your Google Account.
4. In the Google account settings, in the left sidebar select Security.
5. Once in security check and clear any security recommendations.
6. Then check through your recent security activity for any suspicion activity.
7. Finally scroll down and select Manage devices.
8. Look for any devices you do not recognize and select Don't recognize device?

Is it possible that someone hacked your google account and covered up the traces? For example, the hacker went into recent security activity and clicked on 'Yes it was me' when asked if he recognized this activity. Then wouldn't the history of the new login be deleted?

Question on the location part, does this matter if you have your location settings turned off? Cause, I remember reading where if you don't have your location settings turned on, you sometimes won't get the exact location which is apparently normal.
