How to check if Google Tag Manager is installed properly (and works properly)

After you have installed Google Tag Manager (but before you create your first tag), you should make sure that GTM is installed properly.

There are multiple ways to do that and in this video I will show you some of them.

To name a few:
Check the source code of your website
Enable Google Tag Manager Preview and Debug mode
Check Google Tag Assistant.
But this list is not done yet. More are explained in this video.

Awesome man!!
I was so worried why GTM is not firing on my client's website.. but your blog told me that without SSL it cannot fire.. there was no SSL.. I know the next steps now 👍

my Google Tag Assistant detects only Global site tag enabled and active. Should i install GTM again?

When I do things in Google Tas Assistant debug mode, the tags fire but no events in Google Analytics Debug view. Does anybody know why this could be? Help much appreciated <3

I have a web page, where the floodlight Publisher tag section in DCM have been used to implement third party tracker on Conversions.
The floodlight has been implemented through GTM. On the website, in the google tag assistant I can see GTM firing, floodlight firing, but still the Publisher tags that were piggybacking on Floodlight are not firing(can't be seen in the Network section).

Any way to check for what could be going wrong?
