thank u for your thoughts about slobs, obs and obs.live and also mentioning streamelements.. I've been streaming for 5 months now with slobs and as I've watched your video, i can now finally take few breaks from streaming on Facebook live so that i could transition from slobs to streamelements and obs.live .. it's not that i dont like slobs but rather, i dont want to let my budget friendly pc handle a lot of CPU usage to that point that it would also affect my stream and othe things ❤ anyway, thank u Mr. Agent! more power to u dude GGWP

my cousin straight up told me “you should get streamlabs to start off”. i told him okay, and downloaded it. however, i kept hearing about people using invida to record, or using one of the obs apps to record. i was confused on what would work best, and after this vid i soon figured out that obs studio was just more complicated. *even tho i’ve been editing for years and know a lot abt how programs work, we still have me streamlabs ;-;* but

Nice video, but i still i'm a bit confused and i'd have some questions.

I moved from Slobs to Obs Studio, I've re-setup everything right, even added some plugins on top of it. And now, I'm also getting into stream-elements for alerts, goals, etc.

So i was wondering, if OBS Live is a plugin for OBS, should i just override my obs studio installation with OBS live (since it's going to be installed in the same path folder) ?
Or do you recommand me to simply stick to OBS Studio since Chat and Activity feed (and DOCK) is also part of the OBS Studio package right now ?
In other words, is OBS live still has a huge interest compared compare to OBS and is this gonna screw up my OBS setup is i ovveride the install ? ( i have backup but still)

I had a lot of issues with Stream lab, I couldn't Upload photos and videos. The Software never wanted to recognize any photo or video files

Does obs live and obs studio use the same amount of cpu usage?

Streamlabs uses more cpu bc it’s all in one, alerts chat etc

I'm using OBS live with stream elements on an M1 Imac and there was a recent update to OBS but it seems that my OBS live is not the same current version of OBS. Does the OBS live plugin version need to be updated as well? and if so how would I do so?

I'm still lagging with OBS recording! And it lags my computer more. I want a 60 fps and good resolution. But it's lags me so much

I'm still confused. When you say StreamElements OBS Live is just a plug-in for OBS Studio... Does that mean that I need to install OBS Studio first and then add the plug-in?
