Half a decade ago, I was the voice in the silence. I found my voice that evening in January when I broke the silence surrounding my felonious stepfather. After spending more than half my life silent about his disgusting secret, I found not only the courage but the voice to say the truth and make known what needed to be known.

Stumbled across this just when I needed it most. He ended it after 13 years. He put me thru so much but I always stayed. So many times I stayed quiet to keep the peace.
