Rather than an only an adjustable OPV, I would prefer a variable rate vibratory pump to set the flow rate I want, and the desired pressure at that flow rate. Say I have the OPV set at 9.25, and the vibratory pump set to a low enough flow rate to generate 9 bar of pressure. Then I would know that I am not back feeding a huge amount of water (this is an example to show the principle). As it is, this machine has a vibratory pump set to generate a flow rate that is in excess of generating 12 bar at a reasonable flow rate, which means it will generate significant back flushing when you set the OPV to 9 bar. Come to that, why do these machines, being electronic, not have a flow rate meter built in?
