Okinawa sanshin

An Okinawa Sanshin is about 2/3 the size of the traditional shamisen. So it is easy to play and carry, and also it is cheaper than a traditional shamisen. The sound of the index finger when using a ‘Tsume’ (the pick for Sanshin) is clear and is a good match with Western instruments.

沖縄三線は、伝統三味線の約２／３のサイズです。そのため、演奏も持ち運びも、三味線よりも気軽で簡単、かつ、安価です。「爪」をはめた人差し指から出す音はクリアで、洋楽器との相性がよいのが特長です。
