Magníficent as usual!!! I am a lover of few words following the idea that the more words you need to understand the less capacity for understanding you have.
I am going to summarize Alan's entire speech in a concise form.
Zen master Hakuin asks great Zen master Tetsukobu Musashi while clapping his hands:

So if I'm old and tired and have burned candle at both ends, I may leave Yes! That's comforting because I've struggled with ailments physically yet mentally sound and good. Have always thought I should be able to exit at my timing, why not. If system or cosmic God didn't want me to, well I wouldn't be able to. And suicide is made clean and sanitized legally in certain situations. But not because your old and tired. You have to have sickness that you'll die within 6 months to qualify. Yet Mexico I can do it there.. or Switzerland, or many other places. I've felt guilty. So I'm going to make my plan to go home for much needed nutrition and rest in the lovely dark peaceful void. I'm okay with that. Thank you for the years of teachings and comfort. Good luck to you all. I love you all unconditionally. See ya in the other side. I'm content and at peace.
