In a nutshell: The 000 entity is technically alive, but because it is literally a sentient manifestation of nothingness, the Foundation SCP (or possibly the forces of existence itself) has decided that it shouldn’t belong anywhere in reality and is trying to keep it hidden for all of eternity.

The story of 5031 is your classic "don't judge a book by its cover" story and I love it. What can initially be viewed as "just another murder monster, " can become so much more given the right opportunity.

5031 is my favorite scp!! I love it so much, love how it's a wonderful example of a little kindness goes a long way. I do wish they mentioned that the D class working with it was the one guy the whole time, and when 5031 learned words, Robert (the D-class) was one of them!
