I bought a used Grizzly V2 back in April and almost immediately blew the rear controller, which I purchased from Ariel Ryder for around $400. That's just the risk of buying a used electric vehicle with over 1000 miles on it. However, it was well worth it because this baby is a battle tank on these rough and highly unfriendly NYC roadways.

I'm about to transform it into a completely new bike over the winter and have it back on the road by Spring 2024.

Glad you finally got a V3 Grizzly. I also have the same. Set the wheel diameter to 22" and the speedometer will match the GPS app. I also have a Wired Freedom E-bike. The Grizzly has more torque with both motors turned on. Thanks for the review. I think the Grizzly will take the throne away from your Citizen E-bike.

I would definitely put BMX style handlebars. I don't like that ladder type. Nice bike. Thanks for sharing.

If you start in RWD then switch to AWD after you are going, your front tire will last a lot longer.

Just bought mine a month ago and love it. I bought the yellow which came in a more gold shine that matches closer to the shocks. Going to upgrade the handlebars soon and add some storage on the back. Super fun but gotta ride carefully.

Great vid. I personally love the handlebars. Very distinctive and gives one more bar to work with for mounting things it looks like. I'm eyeing the Ariel Grizzly for future purchase.

Great video. Change the wheel size setting in display to 22" and it should be close to accurate.

I like the ladder design, from a functional perspective. I suspect you could mount things left and right without issue.

I turned my X-Class into AWD after watching your Citizen 3.0 build. Cant wait to race a grizz locally here in Albany NY 💪💪
Great video as usual!!

That is a great looking bike and a beast of a bike. My first e bike was also used. It was a Aerial Rider Ridiel.

Looks like a fun bike. Went through the tires pretty fast though. My Philodo H8 AWD I still have the original front tire at almost 6000 miles. Rear has 3500, had to change because it had a staple and I could not find a pc of it, so it kept going flat. Anyway, I love the all wheel drive. Thanks for the video 😀

36 mph is where the motors meet their natural loaded RPM for the voltage. 36mph is very healthy, but if you do need to go faster you need controllers with field weakening, or go to higher voltage batteries which will be expensive and not as good looking. I'd be fine with it stock, but that throttle delay would drive me nuts! It will be interesting to see if the Citizen Cycle can beat it. I could beat a first gen Grizzly with a RadMini, but the gen 3 is probably quicker off the line.

From this side of the screen it definitely looks and sounds like it pulls harder than the Fabulous bikes, not so sure about the citizen bike though… I wish you had more seat adjustment on this moped style bike, they look awesome but I don’t know that I would be comfy on longer rides.

the reflectors are to counterbalance the weel from the valve stem if you take it off its going to bounce like crazy, put 30 psi in the tires and you will hit 37.8 mph.

I'm not too particular with seats, just as long as they are wide, flat, and soft. I'm mostly buy bikeroo.
