Hector Man! I have 5 revenue streams for the services we sell, each has a separate income accounts, our items are also classed to these revenue streams in QBO. Each item also has an expenses account and cost so when I issue a po to my contractors their cost show up in my cogs separating out my cost per revenue stream....l can run a P&L by class to see my gross profit margin for each revenue stream to make sure we are hitting our margins. We are now bringing on in house employees but I'm not sure how to set up a time card app with QBO to achieve the same results. Can I set up "QB Time" to allocate payroll expense into different cog accounts so I can still figure out my GPM per revenue stream? I assume I could somehow tweek the "Projects" function to achieve these results? Or class the customer they clock into? Sorry for the long winded question and hope you are doing well,

Thank you for your video. How do you evaluate these apps vs. just using the native timesheet functionality directly in QBO and setting up our employees/consultants as "Time Tracking Only" users in QBO?

We only need to track time for several casual workers without jobs and customers and have the Simple Start because we have basic requirements. Can TSheets be configured for that configuration?

Hello Hector. Thank you so much for creating these videos. They are priceless! I have a professional services client who only works with 3rd party/1099 contractors. Is there a project time entry app you can recommend that will facilitate both invoicing to customers as well as payment of 1099 contractors? It would be great if it had an integration to Gusto as well. Thanks for your help!
