This is a fantasy action movie about the mythical world of ancient Egypt. Here is a brief plot summary of Gods of Egypt (2016):
In the world ruled by the gods of ancient Egypt, the powerful god of darkness, Set, murders his brother, Osiris, the god of the sky, and usurps the throne, plunging the entire kingdom into chaos and oppression. Osiris' son, Horus, the god of falcons, lost his power in a duel with Set and was forced into seclusion.
A mortal thief, Bek, decides to help Horus rise again in order to save Zaya, the human girl he loves. They join forces and embark on a journey filled with gods and demons, puzzles and battles, ultimately challenging Set and saving the Egyptian world.
This movie blends mythology, action and visual spectacle to portray a battle of wills and beliefs between mortals and gods.
