Back home in Boston after from Tokyo feeling like a loser - part 21 Tokyo trip 2010

well... here I am from the airport. Back at Park Street in Boston.
But to continue on what happened when I found the Ramen place. There was a really excited japanese businessman... he was laughing or something and motioning for me to come in. I thought he worked there. I looked at the chef behind the counter and he looked annoyed and rolled his eyes with his arms crossed and walked away. I sat somewhere else because I didn't know what was going on. I think he was really drunk because he immediately stumbles out the door... and tries to talk to some random person walking by and walks after them. I can do an imitation of the whole event it is etched in my mind. It was really kinda scary. This place had pictures of all the ramen. I said Tan Tan mein... because I like spicy and it is easy to say. I wanted to eat every different type... but I didn't think this was the correct time. I sat there thinking about that poor businessman's face etched in my mind. How desperate or lonely or just completely lost if that is what he is doing for fun. I sat there eating the best ramen noodles ever thinking of what this businessman's life is like... and if he is going to sleep at the capsule hotel and how often...
The next day I had to leave the hostel and go to a different one. You sleep in a little closet space. It was not for the claustrophobic... actually none of the city is made for claustrophobic people. I don't think I talked to that swedish girl since.
I went out and took pictures at Asakusa one last time... I had to be at the airport early the next day. I went out to the bar nearby the former hostel I was at for some beers and ended up meeting up with the Finnish guy, and we went with everyone there to all night karaoke. There was some girl there who hated Bono... and I felt like she was going to like some other guy but ended up walking out with her, and I walked her back to her hostel. She wanted me to come in... and I'm like... what kind of room are you staying in? Dorm? No... so we made out outside a bit, and I didn't know what else to do... and she was really drunk and she went in.
I didn't have a place to stay anymore I don't think... so I just wandered around feeling like a loser. If only I had stayed one night longer... my stuff was waiting for me at the hostel though.
I went to fire off fireworks with the Finnish guy I saw walking back to the hostel after. He's cool. I guess the night before they went out for karaoke and he climbed on the top of the bridge. This morning on the way back to the hostel,... mine was just down the road. I got my stuff, walked back by that girl's hostel... and I had some chalk so I wished her a nice trip. The Thai guy from karaoke was there. He said she was passed out naked in her bed in the dorm room.
Well I still feel like a loser and didn't even think about a love hotel... gotta plan ahead man...
I actually felt like crying on the flight home. I didn't want to leave. It was weird. I think this was the signs of alcohol withdrawals from several days of binge drinking... my brains were scrambled but also I felt like I was mentally ill with girls. Like cursed.
Anyway.... I am home now in this video. This guy was amazing. He led me into finding think funky music. Al Wilson's - Show and Tell. And from there I found a new genre of music I really liked... Johnnie Taylor is really good. This guy must have been some celebrity visiting... so strange...
I had a bunch of wind up toys I gave one to some girl back at the couchsurfing meeting. Then I feel asleep under a tree because I didn't want to go back to normal. Walking to the bus station I saw a costumed marathon. I wish I was in Japan for Halloween.
And here I am... and that is what I learned.
