Grandma can’t help. See, grandpa got sick and his medical debt wiped out their retirement fund. He died, and now grandma is 70 and has to work full time to survive. She can’t afford to help with the kids, not even financially. It’ll get worse when the reds raise the retirement age again, or wipe out SS altogether. Even if grandma lives with you, she’ll still have to work full time. Fun times.
