I can very much understand being frustrated with questions, especially repetitive ones. I find it hard myself to remain cool when my family members pose the same exact questions about Catholicism over and over again. Jimmy, I love your episodes and thoughtful reflection/analysis on so many topics. You are undoubtedly considered an expert apologist and have helped so many people better understand their faith. Thank you for all that. However, I thought your criticisms of getting asked “annoying questions” was a bit harsh, especially for newbies who may not have even been born when you first started this wonderful ministry. Yes, a resource for people to go to to help answer their questions is a good idea, but please leave out the eye-rolling and criticism of getting asked a question that may stop a shy person from bothering to get help and share in the gifts of the knowledge that you have to give. May God continue to bless you and your work….

Jimmy, I have been following you for years and love your work. Please know that I say this with the utmost respect. I know you might not have meant it this way, but the beginning came off as very uncharitable.

I think there are better ways you can be open, honest and express being tired of having to answer the same questions without it being very off-putting.

Personally i think having a resource like youre talking about is an excellent idea. I have the same exact experience and ive only been catholic a couple of years. My situation is much different of course, im in the thick of it. In my county there is only 1 catholic church and outside of the people at my parish, ive never met a catholic.

The place i live is extremely religious, extremely protestant, and most of my friends and family are either pastors, Sunday school teachers, lay speakers, and theology nerds. So im constantly being questioned and challenged by just about everyone i know. It makes me crazy defensive but if i had a youtube resource i could use besides digging through full episodes of catholic answers for hours on a specific topic, it would be so great. Thanks for all you do Jimmy! You were the first catholic i ever spoke to and would love to find that episode for my friends but sadly i cant. I wont lie, i was tempted to call you and ask the same question i asked back then so i could have a reference to that answer. I realized it would only be for my convenience and so i never did.

LOL, my guardian angel went on a leave of absence and is now in therapy. Maybe I am a little too needy? Seriously, I rely on my angel all the time. I think a number of times, my angel has kicked the “bad guys” to the curb.

I find the discussion of St. Michael as the Angelic Prince of Israel really interesting. It fits nicely with the idea that St. Michael is the steward of Heaven, God's possessions are his (Israel, Heaven, the Church), but He trusts Michael to preside over them and see his Will carried out.
