Ride Comparison! Polaris KHAOS 163 vs 155!

We ride two 2021 Polaris RMK Khaos sleds available for 2021—a new 163" x 3" track option, and compare it to a Khaos with a 155" x 3" chaincase configuration that many riders may have already experienced on a 2020 model sled.
Our findings are surprising, but not just because of the track length!

So owning a 2020 khaos and riding most of the season as a 155 2.6 with quick drive but then converting to a 163” rail and challenger X3 track with a full fox suspension setup it’s a night and day difference. The 155 is very playful in its handling but on steep slopes it liked to pull the front end up and trench. The 163 helps keep that under control and although it does pull the front end up still it keeps moving and doesn’t trench as bad as the 155 did. I did the ice age khaos rails and upgraded suspension and a Gear down kit if anyone’s interested in doing the same thing. It climbs so much better now and just pulls hard. The quick drive with 3” is awesome, especially with the gear down kit! Literally made my sled into a 2021 before they even where released and I love it! Perfect for tree riding, but way more playful then my old 17 Pro Rmk was! 👌💯

You really struggle getting into any meat info. When you finally started to around 10:30 you only say “big difference”, but don’t describe it at all.. finally gave up there.

I have a 20 kahos 155 & wondering about swapping to a 163 x 3in along with 13-15 quick drive gearing... we live in Idaho & enjoy climbing. I have 2 older 163 Pro 800s

I've only ridden once but I don't see the allure of riding in the trees that doesn't look fun.
