First time trying some crazy-looking Onigiri from Newdays, a convenience store located inside train stations in Japan.

Ohhh this is fun! If I remember correctly, there used to be a news day kombini near Nippori station (on the bus station side). I think I'll check that one out when I'm there. I love these unusual onigiri. It reminds me of the onigiri recipe videos you two made years ago. That was so much fun!
