Actually eliminates the need for pesticides because chickens eat all the bugs. They let chickens loose on cow pastures and the flies go away the cows get less disease and farmers get eggs and very tasty lean chicken meat. And the chickens get their protein. Plus, they have this term in China for old hens. Basically hens that have lived a few years and have ended their egg laying cycle. They apparently make the world best chicken soup but only if it’s completely raised free range.
