An X86 SBC With An RTX 4090! This Is Now The Fastest Odroid Ever!

We just created the most powerful Odroid Single board computer! Well, I guess after adding this Liquid cooled Nvidia RTX 4090 to the Odroid H3+ it's not an SBC anymore but yeah this thing is defiantly putting out a better performance than any other Board from Hard kernel yet!, But talk about a Bottle Neck! We run some benchmarks and test some 4k gaming in this video.

You should absolutely test DLSS 3 frame generation with this setup to see whether or not you can overcome some of the CPU bottlenecking by allowing the 4090 to produce its own frames without CPU input. I think it would be a particularly interesting test as far as Cyberpunk and Spiderman are concerned.

The 4090 is such an absolute beast. I have a 12 core Ryzen 5900X cpu and even that is a bottleneck for my 4090 at 4K in most games.

If any of you are planning to get one of these m.2 to pcie adapters, make sure you get one that's actually made by adt link.
I have 2 made by different no name manufacturers and neither of them work while the adt link one I have works perfectly fine.

4 cores 4 threads and only 10 watt that is insane. The first quad core Core 2 Quad Q6400 had 104 TDP.

For 4090 testing, I’d love to see details on undervolting and lowering the power draw while maintaining performance. I’ve seen high-level descriptions about being able to get 90% of the performance with half the power draw, but no replicable details.

Considering the side thing you also do, id love to see thie with a 1050ti or something similar that will allow a pico power stick that small combo in a bartop arcade cabinet with Launchbox on Windows 10 Lite.

The H3+ with a decent mid-range video card, at that pricepoint, would make a REALLY SOLID bartop arcade/emulation unit.
PLEASE, fit this into a 4K Bartop with a rollerball and two sticks. 6 button fighting config on each side.
Bet we can get to PS2-3 Territory on the Emu side, and even throw in some older AAA PC games. With that much Sata access, you could hold a massive games library inside such a beastie!

Hey ETA, I don't know if you've seen anything yet but there have been a few cases of those adapters that come with the 4090 melting or catching fire with no warning. Please be careful with that adapter.
