Thank you brother!! As my 15 yr old son is just now beginning to forge, meaning that he just set up his forge and hasn't put any metal in it yet, this is one of the most useful forging videos I've seen.

Thank you!! Realized I've been running in an oxygen rich environment with my little forge. Great to see a demonstration with the same forge I have.
Thanks for all your videos as well, I really appreciate them.

As a brand new blacksmithing hobbyist, when you explained how excess scale formed, all of a sudden the “ahah!!” moment hit me! Thanks so much for this!

This is by far the best explanation of flame management that I have ever seen for a gas forge. Super helpful, I honestly had no idea what I was looking for in the process of forging with gas. Now I have more direction in the way that I am practicing with using the forge. Thank you!

This is exactly what I needed!!!! I watched several videos on gas forges and no one actually showed the how to mix the gas and fuel properly.

This is a fantastic explanation. I just had a “weld” come apart and I was wondering why. Turns out louder is not always hotter. You just leveled me up Roy. Thanks.

Thanks so much for this! I bought a Mr. Volcano forge earlier this year and am finally getting a chance to start using it. There isn't much h info out there on this topic that I've found. Very well explained, nicely done!

Just started forging and it seemed like I had a lot of forge scale. This video made a lot of sense to me and now I know why I had so much scale. Thank you for the awesome information!

As a refrigeration/gas fitter tech the last 25 years, this video is the best visual demonstration in plain english I’ve seen to date. Great job, sir.

Well that's awesome Roy!! Explains why i didn't get that weld to stick. Oxidizing vs carburizing flame from oxy acetylene was my frame of reference before but this was definitely more beneficial and being the exact forge I'm using it's the best tutorial I've seen yet.😁👍
