The pressure of a fixed amount of gas at a constant temperature inversely varies with the volume of the gas

Yeahhhh I'm going to echo a lot of the sentiments here- this was not very conceptually followable; I'm sure the particulars are very good, but many laymen come to Khan to conceptually understand what experts are unable to convey in a simple manner; still, thanks for the free teaching

I have a question here. How did Robert Boyle maintain the constant temperature throughout his experiment?

So I have a question.
you inversed the values of volume. Why didnt inversed the pressure?

Can we use physical laws like Boyle’s law, Charles law or other physical laws in forecasting weather changes or precipitation & how? Thanks

Can I ask if the standard pressure is always the initial pressure? Thank you

This doesn't coincide with my Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics General textbook at all. I was looking for some clarification on the material im currently studying but now im even more lost. In fact, its so different that my text book says Robert Boyle was an English scientist and this says he was Scottish. I would recommend a simpler explanation of Boyle's Law. Thank you for posting a video on the topic

pressure of the atmosphere  is not considered when calculating the pressure. only the pressure of the height difference of mercury was considered.                 the pressure of the gas should be the pressure of the mercury+the pressure of the
