Ok maybe its not "everything" because I did forget three little things. First off if you want to change the nvidia control panel settings for a specific game you can just scroll down its listing in graphics settings. Those nvcp settings will be available after the nvidia optimized settings and also include game specific controls for dynamic vibrance! The other thing is that in that same graphics tab you can select the three dots icon to add a program that isn't listed.

This should hopefully make game filters work for anything. There's also the tried and true fix of toggling fullscreen on or off (usually on), attempting to enable game filters ingame, and enabling performance overlay and then restarting. Basically if you can get performance overlay to show up and show the framerate then its absolutely detecting the game and should hopefully work. If not you can also try using the nvidia profile inspector I discuss towards the end of the video, pick the game in question, scroll down to "Other" and change ansel flags to ansel_allow_list_allowed. If that still doesn't work I would give up to be honest.

The last thing is that you can actually control which items show up in your performance monitor by opening the overlay and clicking on statistics at the very bottom, then changing from basic to custom view mode. I personally don't use anything other than the basic display since most options dont work with every game and it takes up enough space as is, but the option is there for more info. I'll cover all these addendums again in my follow up video where I look at broadcast, frameview, and the rest

Hi Lobo, do you know how to adapt the res of Nvidia recording to forced display scaling ? I use 1728x1080 and since I set up forced display scaling the res of my clips gets weirdly squared with Nvidia in a 4:3 aspect ratio (not the 4:3 stretched res but the one u see when you type in 4:3 res on google, I wanted to illustrate with an imgur link but the comment gets automatically deleted) which forces me to use OBS.
Idk how to fix this but if you have a solution for this, either in changing the settings directly or editing the clip afterwards, it would be much appreciated since OBS is kinda laggy for me even with NVENC, 1P and only 4000kbps of bitrate with VBR

They still continue to do it badly!
If you use DSR functions, the interface inside the overlay still not scaled correctly! Your will not be able to control it. Same in the Ansel controls and as in the classic Experience inside game!
I'm so dissapointed. I need to change resolution back and forth everytime I need to try filters or change any settings. They advertised their nvidia cool stuff, but it doesn't work properly for years.
I don't remember when Ansel worked good last time... In 2016 maybe?
I still prefer reshade and I use Experience only for screen recording.
And I just discovered that it now leaks VRAM while game alt+tabbed and then crashes video driver after out memory.

damn even this app cant install my drivers, idk what happened and why did it got messed up but the only way for me to install them now is to download the driver from the Nvidia site, extract the installer then go to device manager>display>gpu and then update driver from computer
