5 Myths About Indian Ringneck Parrots

Social media can make it confusing on making the right decision if a Ringneck Parrot is a good pet for you, especially with all the false information. In this video I have added 5 myths that have been circling around for awhile that are not true.

I have 2 ring necks. My adult girl, Kea, was hand raised, but when it was discovered she has neurological problems, she was put in an aviary and ignored, until she was sold to the pet shop. She now has a safe home, where her quirks are understood. Poor baby is not willing to interact, but I wont give up on her. My little one, Liath is a confident, social, hand reared chick, who gets and loves, lots of interaction.

Yeh the video was informative, although I knew these were myths, these will greatly help those who want ringnecks as pets. I remember my mithu was my best pet ever and could talk a lot and was very smart. Lots of love for ricco ❤

Very helpful...I have three 1 female albino(1yr)and two 5 month old female and male. Just have had the albino for 3 months very interactive but no talking yet. Hoping the younger ones will learn. Is it taking too long?

I got 40 days old ringneck parrot. Now its 50 days old. It is always trying to bite my fingers when I want to feed with syringe. After feeding it becomes calm and friendly. However, its wild and trying to fly outside.
