@1:09 - Sorry, the 1972 was the last front chrome bumper (not 1971)

Here's a must know about the C3
If you put those cool chrome header side pipes on the car.
Always warn your girlfriend when she wears a dress to be careful not to burn her nylons on the side pipes 😆

I just bought a C3 Corvette that sat for forty years in a barn.
Gave the guy $2500.00 for it.

I’ve got a 1974 four speed car with the 454 engine! Even though the compression is down compared to the earlier ones, this car will still absolutely fly ! And the exhaust sound still turns heads 😊

Fact 4 is wrong... 1972 corvette stingray was the last to have the chrome bumper on the front... I know because I own one.

I own a 1978 silver anniversary and that and the pace car edition which were only released in 78, are the best c3's to come from that line.

Fact 9: look up 1963/64 Chevrolet Monza and 1964/65 Pontiac XP-833 as inspirations for Corvette body style.

I don't remember Mannix driving a C3. He had a Dart and then went to Barracuda's.
I have a '73 4 speed and a '79 auto C3. Love them!

LT-1 was highest hp small block, not highest hp engine then. The body style was stolen from the Pontiac Banshee actually in my opinion.

Nice video, and beautiful pics! One of your facts is incorrect...Just as jayhays said fact # 4 1972 was the last year for the front chrome bumper, NOT 1971

OK. Here are some. Some came with very large engines. Some came in half...literally they were the last ones with chrome bumpers. As mentioned in this video. They are quite roomy inside. Also isn't so that in 1978 they stopped making them for a year? (with the exception of the pace car mentioned here in this video?). I thought I had heard this somewhere. Something about model kits or what. I had a neighbor with an LT1 Camaro. Little wheels. Darn fun. I was quite young then but one night he came home I didn't know if it was him of the neighbour guy with the corvair who had a V8 in the middle of his corvair. It was Carlson with his Camaro. It was late and I raced out of bed to the front door and down the street I saw him just kind of quietly going inside. Lots of cool used cars in the hood back then. KR stangs. Sprints Sport Coup's Pontiacs. Pontiacs like 69 TA's. Anther neighbour I think he worked at a dealership. A little 65 Barracuda. Then! His some came around in a AAR cuda. Minilights stickers padded roll bars phowah! The Avon lady had an E Type painted Shelby style big box hood scoop the thing had the potential to shake the pictures off the walls in the house. That little LT 1 though. I'm sold! I personally went by way of little Plymouth 'A' body's. One needs to whittle down his preferences., make a choice or he is apt to find himself in big trouble though. Kind of the same with lady's

Fact 2. T-tops were not an "option". ALL Corvettes came with them. Except the convertibles, of course.
