Baby Practice Breathing in Womb 39 Weeks Pregnant

Watch mostly the left side of my 39 week belly to see my little guy practicing his breathing.
I have had two of my doctor's tell me that "practice breathing" is a sign of a happy, healthy and comfy baby. It melts my heart every time I see him practicing.
A lot of women don't notice this, so don't be worried if you haven't seen you're little boy or girl practicing their breathing! Some only see it in an ultrasound and some not at all.

I'm 34 weeks. I thought my baby was crying but I saw him on the ultrasound practicing breathing and now that I see this video, I can confirm that's what it was. Thank you for sharing :)

Almost 39 weeks and I just experienced this exact movement, but on the right side lol. I had a feeling and thought he was practicing breathing but wasn’t sure. You definitely gave me some comfort by sharing this video.

32 wks and I’m happy to see this is a normal event. I hadn’t heard about it yet, but saw my stomach wiggle and the only explanation I could think of was a breathing event. I would never have thought this would occur

This is amazing I've been experiencing this lately, wasn't sure it was really her breathing but I was like it has to be because of the rhythmic movement like beathing lol. Thanks for sharing

I’m 36 weeks and 3 days and this is my 4th, I experienced this with all of my babies and I was worried this time around bc I haven’t felt it/seen it yet but it happened this evening!!

Ive been expierencing the same thing! When i asked my doctor about it he said its impossible to see the baby breathing or her heartbeat. I told him i dont know what else it could have been i know when its hiccups or something else and this was rhythmic!!

I was trying to find out what my 35 week breech baby was doing cus I started feeling a rhythmic up and down motion that didn’t feel like hiccups at all, I then found people saying it’s probably the baby doing breathing exercises and then this video confirmed it for me- only my baby’s at the middle top of my stomach squishing right against my ribs 😭

Oh ok. Just had my first steroid shot for her lungs incase they need to take her early. Was scared because I saw small movements like that but feel her normal movements after I had a panic attack 🤦🏻‍♀️. Was scared. But thank you for this video!! 🫂
