Thanx for the helpful videos!!!I have a question ....
If we have more than one curve like for example a tree, how to select or remove points from the beginning of every curve/branch like with the Add node in 1:20 but to treat every first point of each curve/branch? I hope my question makes sense, cause I want to delete leaves instanced on branches at the beginning of every branch, but cant figure it out. In this cause I want every first point of each curve to be index 0. Is there a way to do this?

the value of this tutorial CAN NOT BE UNDERSTATED. There are no other tutorials exploring these concepts with such clarity. Visualizing what happens with geonodes is the most critical important thing to learning it and this makes it possible. WELL DONE!!

How do I find the vector(X, Y, Z) of a particular vertex and use it as an input?

Ha! That's easy! 😇You have all your points nicely placed on the curve, their indexes and ID are in the order they come. In real life, it's not that way. You have a model that has been worked upon (add loops, retopologized, you name it) and the indexes are NOT in accordance with the U and V directions. How do I select the next U or V point in GN? Suggestions most welcome.

If we were able to select a vertex and then a few vertices more on the U direction and then apply a mathematics equation to the selection we would be able to edit very precisely complicated meshes without having to squint our eyes. Thus we could have perfect junctions for knees and elbows. Sinews as well.

Hello,
thank you for these very clear explanations.

Is it possible to assign a different material to each cube in the same way? Can you do a tutorial on how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

Éric
